Hometowns, 2005 17" x 17" Prints, Ultrachrome Ink on Cotton Paper An accompanying project to It's Fun to Shoot People, Hometowns explores the places where Pennsylvania reservists involved in the Abu Ghraib prison scandal grew up: New Stanton, Uniontown, and Hyndeman. It seeks to understand and humanize the people involved in such tragic circumstances. Hometowns is still a work in progress. |
